We Believe

  • We believe the Scriptures are inspired by God and declare His plan for mankind.
  • We believe there is only One True God—revealed in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, known as the Trinity.
  • We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. As God’s Son, He was both human and divine.
  • We believe that although mankind’s fall into sin ushered death and evil into the world, each person can have restored fellowship with God through salvation—trusting Christ, through faith and repentance, as his or her personal Savior.
  • We believe and practice two ordinances: Water Baptism by immersion, and Holy Communion as a symbolic remembrance of Christ’s suffering and death for us.
  • We believe sanctification initially occurs at salvation, and is a lifelong process.
  • We believe the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a special experience following salvation.
  • We believe that all the gifts of the Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians 12 are available and operational in the Body of Christ today.
  • We believe that divine healing of spirit, soul, and body is provided for in Christ’s sacrifice for us.
  • We believe the Church’s urgent mission is to seek and to save all who are lost in sin, especially since Christ is returning soon.
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: They that are lost unto eternal damnation; they that are saved unto eternal life.
